There is a small group of us doing the Rees-Dart Track in Mt Aspiring National Park in November.
Our proposed plan is as follows:
- Wednesday 19th November: Drive to the start of the Rees track and start tramping up the Rees Valley to Shelter Rock Hut.
- Thursday 20th November: Tramp up to the Dart Hut where we stay two nights.
- Friday 21st November: A day walk up to the Dart Glacier and Cascade Saddle viewpoint
- Saturday 22nd November: Tramp down the Dart Valley to the Daley’s Flat Hut.
- Sunday 23rd November: Tramp out to the road end and head home to our various locations.
Limited accommodation available at Lakeland Park before and after the tramp.
